Trinity Hindman-The Sophisticate’s Tea: Square State 4

I am the person who loves tea and coffee equally. In fact, you’ll probably find that I will share a ridiculous number of coffee shop reviews on this website. So, when I’m wandering around town I’m always on the lookout for a great tea or coffee product.

This summer I was walking on the 16th Street Mall (doesn’t happen often) when I noticed a cute little tea cart next to a taco cart. I wasn’t hungry, but I was thirsty, so I decided to buy some tea.

The Sophisticate’s Tea

Is delicious! I ended up having an awesome conversation with Trinity while we warded off an awkwardly scary guy in torn tights from bothering us.

The following conversation is a great one to share with people who are trying to grow something great. Whether it’s a brick and mortar business or something online.

Trinity shared a lot of wisdom and I look forward to continuing to support The Sophisticate’s Tea.

What Colorado Can Improve: Square State 3

Disclosure: In order for me to support my blogging activities, I may receive monetary compensation or other types of remuneration for my endorsement, recommendation, testimonial and/or link to any products or services from this blog.

While I love a lot of things about Colorado there are a number of issues that we have and that I wish we would get a handle on so that we can improve our state and the lives of people living here.

In today’s episode I explore a small number of those issues briefly with the goal of reaching out to people who are working on resolving those issues in our state in the future.

I’m including links to articles that may give you more information and details about the issues that I brought up.

  • Lack of transportation across the state.
  • Access to the mountains when you don’t have a car.

A Listening Ear: Square State 2

Episode 2

Today’s episode is all about listening. I randomly met Anita at Platform T in Baker. She was sitting at a table that had a sign on it that said something like “listening table.” Having a goal of 365 episodes in a year makes a person speak to every interesting person who crosses their path. And, I’m an extrovert.

This episode covers the following:

  • Listening without judgement
  • Radical listening
  • How the listening works
  • No names please!
  • Then, we talk about living in Colorado.

Her next listening session will be held on January 4th at Panera, Glendale City Set. Please go to www.apieceofquiet.com to schedule your session.

Happy New Year! Let’s Talk Square State

Disclosure: In order for me to support my blogging activities, I may receive monetary compensation or other types of remuneration for my endorsement, recommendation, testimonial and/or link to any products or services from this blog.

For some reason I absolutely love this picture. I’ve just realized that I may have used this picture before in a previous blog post. No matter, it’s still awesome. I love this picture because it perfectly illustrates what Colorado (Denver) was in the past and isn’t anymore.

It’s not a cowtown (state) anymore in the way that many people imagine it to be. There are things to do, cool people, innovation, and an incredible amount of innovation. Because of that I’ve decided to set a ridiculously audacious goal for Square State.

365 Days

Of interviews, thoughts, musings, and connecting with cool people who are doing great things in our state.

Please do contact me with show ideas and interesting people to connect with at: coloradoluvhub@gmail.com

Sponsors Wanted

If you are interested in sponsoring an episode (or a series of episodes) and have a Colorado based product or service that you think listeners would love hearing about I would love to hear from you!

Vote Yes on 4B

You love the arts don’t you? Then, voting YES for 4b is a no-brainer unless you’re new to the state and following districts: Denver, Boulder, Broomfield, Arapahoe, Adams, Douglas, and Jefferson.. and have no idea what I’m talking about.

The Scientific and Cultural Facilities District was created in 1998 (oops, I think I said 1988 in the podcast). Basically, what voters agreed to was the allocating of one penny for every $10 of sales tax towards funding the arts.

No Brainer
